Updates for friends and family on Carol Ann's breast cancer story
We want to thank you for your prayers and help. We hope that this website will be able to provide people with needed communications. From this page you can click on "Blogs" on the left to access Carol Ann's postings, you can click on the "Calendar" on the left to see her activities/events, you can click on "Register" on the right to sign up to our site. Other information Articles / Pictures will be added as we have time.
The Blog
In our Blog (click on "Blogs" to the left), if you register you will be able to read and add comments to her blog. The Blog is now password protected so you will need to register and validate your email before you can log into the Blog. The emails addresses don't go anywhere but to our website that we control. To add a comment, just click on comment below the individual posting. We would love to see your comments - what you comment will be able to be seen by all.
The Calendars
Now here is how the calendars work. There are two calendars - one for meals and one for activities that we have planned. If you click on the "Calendar" word on the left you will be sent to a page where you can select what calendars you would like to have visible. There is a tab at the top where you can get a pull down menu to check or uncheck the calendars. You can add events to our calendar by clicking on the top right of the day you want to add the event (just make sure you add activities to the activity calendar and meals to the meal calendar).
For those who have offered Meals
Thanks so much...we have already had our calendar of meals get filled in. The kids are not picky and we don't need elaborate meals, but we are thankful for those who can cook or buy so well. We know this journey will likely be more than just surgery so we will not be shy to ask for more help when the time comes.
We thank you for your kind deeds, but most of all we thank you for your prayers. So if you want to just send us an email saying that you just prayed for Carol Ann or the family, then that would be great encouragement too. Sometimes we are calm and composed and it can't be explained except perhaps someone added us to their prayers and got us through the challenge of the day.
